More groups join jeans fundraiser
You’ve got to hand it to Jeans ‘n Classics. The London, Ontario-based collective of musicians has the symphonic pops classical gig down to a science. They rolled into the Roanoke Valley this weekend and did their well-oiled “British Invasion” show with David Stewart Wiley and the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra on Saturday night at the Salem Civic Center.

An event in Beckley this weekend hopes to reach out to needy and homeless youth, supply a stylish pair of jeans – and a boost of much needed confidence.
