$3,000 fine for stealing jeans (Trinidad Express)

Two women, who said they stole two pairs of jeans to pay a $150 taxi fare, have been fined a total of $3,000. Hairdressers Alicia Huggins, 31, of Laventille, and Phinola Davis, 27, of Morvant, will each serve six months in prison should the money not be paid.
