The scarf has moved on from the days of sweet, side-tied kerchiefs and moved up to a multipurpose, always chic, often cheap must-have. A scarf can add color and completely change the look of an outfit—even a T-shirt and jeans.

Richmond-area schools, businesses hold fundraisers to help Haiti quake victims (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

Pennies for Haiti, T-shirts for Haiti, jeans for Haiti and basketball for Haiti are some of the ways local schools and businesses are raising money for relief to earthquake victims. Production of a Haiti Band-Aid T-shirt by Richmond’s Doubletake Clothing has raised more than $7,000 for Haiti relief. Volunteers shipped out more than 600 shirts Sunday.
