Virginia Beach, Va. – Police in Virginia Beach are searching for a man who stole a $20,000 diamond from the Gordon’s Jewelers in Lynnhaven Mall on January 5th. The suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years old weighing 170-175 pounds and between 6′-6′2 tall. He was wearing baggy blue jeans, a beige jacket and a dark skull cap.

CHESAPEAKE Wearing a surgical mask, a man robbed the BB&T at 825 Volvo Pkwy. on Wednesday. According to police, the man handed a teller a duffel bag and demanded money at 11:22 a.m. He headed toward Battlefield Boulevard in a red or burgundy Ford Taurus. The robber was about 6 feet tall and wore sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.

NORFOLK Gordon Barry said he was trying to prevent someone from being shot when he released his police dog in a crowded courtyard in Young Terrace the night of May 21, 2006. But the dog ran past Barry’s intended target, a man in blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and Timberland boots, and attacked another man. It was then that Barry fired his police weapon.
