STRATHAM — The Do Good Denim Drive 2010 kicked off last week with students from the Cooperative Middle School collecting more than 500 pairs of jeans for students in the North Country.

CHESAPEAKE Wearing a surgical mask, a man robbed the BB&T at 825 Volvo Pkwy. on Wednesday. According to police, the man handed a teller a duffel bag and demanded money at 11:22 a.m. He headed toward Battlefield Boulevard in a red or burgundy Ford Taurus. The robber was about 6 feet tall and wore sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.
