What is your favorite brand and style of blue jeans?

Samsara asked:

I’ve owned numerous kinds of blue jeans from all over the world and different places. Gap use to carry my favorite type of jeans – low riders, dark rinse/vintage jeans, but the fit is different than what they use to be. Lately, the only jeans I wear is True Religion/ dark rinse jeans with a bootcut. True Religion jeans are $200 plus, but it was worth the price. Will anyone reccomend some good jean brands to try. I don’t mind alterations as long as I wear the jeans all the time.

I have a hard time getting jeans that fit. I always seem to have a baggy gap at the back of the waist because of my smaller waist proportion to larger booty. What brands are best for me? Has anyone found jeans that fit this way? Thanks!

I can’t believe some people would pay that even more for a pair of jeans!!! Is there any difference? Because after all jeans are just cotton and a zipper, not cashmere/leather/mink, COTTON!!! Will you enlighten me please?

Is there a difference between designer jeans and regular jeans?

lalala asked:

Is it really worth spending $100 and over for designer jeans? Is there really a difference between designer jeans and jeans that are cheaper? I’ve noticed designer jeans have a more sophisticated wash, but honestly aren’t jeans just jeans?? or do designer jeans last longer? I’ve noticed that my jeans from gap and brands alike fade and lose their shape quickly. So I’m thinking of investing on designer jeans, but is it really worth it?
