North Polk staffhonors Denim Day (The Tri-County Times)

On Monday, Sept. 21, North Polk staff members took part in the 2009 Lee National Denim Day. Staff members were allowed to wear jeans for a $5 donation to support breast cancer. The district raised $495 among the three buildings. This day also coincided with homecoming week, and Monday was “color day,” where teachers wore pink and showed extra support for the cause.
