For the past three years Piedmont High School senior Sarah Headley worked with Teens For Jeans. It is part of a nationwide drive to collect blue jeans of all sizes and colors to clothe those less fortunate.

A local high school student was honored for her work to help homeless youth. Sarah Headley, a junior at Piedmont High School, was recognized by Aeropostale and dosomething.org for collecting more than 3,000 pairs of jeans.
A Union County teenager and her friends are trying to collect enough blue jeans in 12 days to clothe more than 1,000 homeless children and their families.
